Estimated 2008 distribution
The Puget Sound Energy Foundation was created in 2006 with a $15 million
endowment (learn
more). None of the foundation's grants will come from Puget Sound Energy's
(PSE) utility customers. Annually the Foundation is required to distribute five
percent of the preceding year's average assets in charitable distributions. The minimum distribution required in 2008 is approximately $437,000, due to funds distributed in 2007 that exceeded the annual required allocation.
